Leland's Obituary
Leland Thomas ”Tom” Johnson, 66, of Vancouver, WA, passed away Jan. 31, 2019. He was born in Grand Forks, ND to Vernon and Mae Johnson. Tom grew up and graduated from high school in 1971.
He met his wife Carol in 1969 and they were married shortly after. They had two children, Troy and Shanna.
Tom worked for Red Owl in Grand Forks for many years and in 1989 he and his family moved to Vancouver, WA where he worked at Fred Meyer for over 16 years and retired in June 2018.
Tom is survived by his wife, Carol, of 45 years; son, Troy of Tacoma, WA; daughter, Shanna; 2 grandsons, Tyrone and Isaiah, all of Vancouver; his sister, Carol Donmelli of PA; brother, Arbury (Roxie) Johnson of Seattle; and sister, Trudy Gerszewski (Bill Sell) of Fargo, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Linda LaBelle.
